An Update, Sort Of

A few months back I started a thread on this blog regarding the choices that law enforcement officers that lay before them. The United States had recently entered a a period of time not seen in many decades. We are facing a growing trend towards tyranny.

Those that support a tyrannical government have become emboldened over the past 13+ years. The election of Barack Obama beought the Marxists out of their barely concealing shadows. We absolutely knew they were there, but were kept in check, partially out of fear, but mostly to bide their time. When Obamawas elected, out of the shadows they came, no longer fearful, and knowing the time was right. 

They have doubled down over the past 13+ months. With the installation of former VP Biden as president*, someone the Marxists could easily manipulate, they have continued Obama's attempted fundamental transformation at warp speed.

During the Obama years, there was no need for enforcement. It was all incremental. Small steps. Many of saw what was happening back then. We tried to warn. But people have lives to live. And who wants to be called a racist for disagreeing with the lightbringer?

But we have entered a new phase. A phase of tyranny that has become all too evident. Those people who had lives to live? They are seeing it now. They are speaking up. They are taking action. They are no longer shrugging their shoulders and saying it's just a little thing. 

However, this new found spine has not come without its obstacles and threats. Now the Marxists are using law enforcement. Before this most recent phase, law enforcement was not necessary, at least not openly. The Marxists would get their way because we just want to get along. We'd draw a line in the sand, we'll go along, just don't cross this line. Later on, we'd rub out the line that would eventually get cross and we'd say, OK, we're good, but please, not this line. We'd warn the Marxists there was going to come a day, but it seemed like that day was always tomorrow. This went on for years. Until finally, lines were crossed and spines were steeled. 

So now that wr have finally found a voice and a strength, the Marxists know they are in trouble. They know their ideas and ways go against the grain of every red-blooded American. And once these people stand up, they know their ideas can't stand the light of day. 

They are left one one recourse. The power of law enforcement. Never mind that nearly every single step they have taken in recent years, especially the last two, is unconstitutional. They just don't care. And now they are beginning to call on law enforcement to do their dirty work. The FBI is already corrupted beyond salvation. State police, especially in blue states, are showing signs. Most Sheriffs Departments have, so far, avoided going down the road to tyranny. Nearly all large city police forces have also gone down this road. 

In that post from a couple months back I said members or law enforcement are going to soon be faced with a choice:

They can choose the path of freedom. They can, as individuals and departments, choose to not partake in the tyranny. The individual choice is tough. They will risk their livelihoods. As departments, the risk to the individual is considerably less, but it does come with issues.

They can choose the path tyranny. They can choose, as individuals and departments, to become to goon squads for the Marxists. The FBI has made their choice. Others, as stated above, are all, to varying degrees, at an inflection point. 

My call to you, dear readers, is to force this issue. Not by doing anything illegal. But by exercising your constitutional rights to protest peacefully. By exercising your constitutional right to speak freely. And when law enforcement comes to you, ask them, "are you making a choice?" Are they choosing to be on the side of freedom.  Or are they choosing the side of tyranny.
