Commie Rules for Revolution

I ran across this on the interwebs not too long ago. These are guidelines for would be communists and the steps necessary to overthrow a government. How many do you recognize? 

1. Corrupt the young, get them away from religion, get them interested in sex. Make them superficial, destroy their ruggedness.

 2. Get control of all means of publicity thereby: 

• Get the peoples minds off their government by focusing their attention on athletics, sexy books and plays and other trivialities. 

• Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial matters of no importance 

• Destroy the people's faith in their natural leaders by holding the latter up to contempt and ridicule. 

• Always preach true democracy, but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible. 

• By encouraging government extravagance, destroy its credit, produce fear of inflation with rising prices and general discontent.

• Ferment unnecessary strikes in vital industries, encourage civil disorders and foster lenient and soft attitudes toward such disorders. 

• By specious argument, cause the breakdown of the old moral virtues, honesty, sobriety, confidence, faith in the pledged word, ruggedness. 

3. Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext, with a view towards confiscating them and leaving the population helpless. 

The wording and writing style are from another time. I believe this was first published 100 or so years ago. For the commies, the end goal is no different today than it was back when this article was published. Domination. 

All that has happened over the last several decades has been by design. It was accelerated under Obama. But he received push back. While he was able to pass his dream legislation, Obama care, the dems were swept out of office in 2010, hamstringing further big steps. The progressives learned their lessons. This time, after former VP Biden was installed, they are attempting to grab it all. They know the vast majority of Americans don't want and commie/Marxist government. The chaos we are seeing now is completely by design. Fortunately, there has been resistance. But will it be enough? If the conservatives gain a majority in Congress will they stand their ground? I am optimistic, but only slightly.
