If you are a union member or a union support the following stories should warm the cockles of your heart. If you, like me, think that unions have long outlived their usefulness and no longer really serve the actual dues paying members, then this should scare your pants off.

It seems the unions are making an effort to unionize the fast-food industry. There are a lot of bad outcomes from this effort which are covered very nicely by the article, but one they don’t touch on is the further marginalizing of the teenage worker. As the minimum wage has risen, so has the teenage unemployment. This will most likely have a further negative impact on teenage employment
