CBS Reporter "Unavailable"

The CBS reporter (Sharyl Attkisson) who dared report on the brewing ‘Fast and Furious’ and ‘Gunwalker’ scandal has apparently been made incognito by the brass at CBS. As reported by John Hinderaker of “Powerline Blog:” (h/t Mike at CY)

Today I called CBS News in an attempt to interview Attkisson. I was told by CBS news senior vice president of communications Sonya McNair that Attkisson would be unavailable for interviews all week. When I asked why Attkisson would be unavailable, McNair would not say.

I’ve also heard from a producer at another media outlet that has previously booked Attkisson that they tried to book her since she made news with the Laura Ingraham interview yesterday. They were also told that she would be unavailable. (Source: PowerLine)

Very interesting, to say the least. Here we have a reporter that has probably done the best job (outside the conservative blogosphere) of reporting on the developing scandal. Yesterday she gets into a shouting match with a couple of Obama flunkees over her coverage on the scandal. Now today she is suddenly “unavailable.” Ya jus’ gotta love how the main stream media carries Obama’s water. It is certain that Obama and his crew do not believe in “freedom of the press.”
