Gotta Love Those Unions

How often have you heard from the leadership of unions that they are all about the workers and through the unions America will get back to work?

Seem that a union member, who could not find a job through the union, went behind the backs of the union and got a non-union job.

The union fined him $300,000, which was later reduced to $200.000. Very magnanimous of them to reduce the fine. I don’t know if the fine is enforceable or legally binding. I would imagine with all those hard earned dollars going into the coffers (via union dues) of the unions to pay for some pretty fancy lawyer-types, there is legal language that will force this guy to pay the fine.

Just so I understand this, a guy couldn’t get a job through his union, went on his own and found a job so he could pay his rent/mortgage and purchase food and other items on the economy (the best stimulus there is) and now the union is going to take even more money from him. Must really be nice to be represented by a union.  As I have said many times before, the unions were once a very important need in this country. They long ago outlived their usefulness.
