Wisconsin protesters are defying orders to leave the state capital building. After occupying the building rotunda and other parts of the building 24/7 for the two weeks or so, the place has become a pigsty and Gov Walker had ordered the capital police to get the building vacated so cleaning could be done. After the clean up, the protesters are going to be allowed back in, but not for overnight stays.
Some are claiming it is the “people’s house” and they do have a point. But like most any visitor to any house, they have overstayed their welcome. It is time to start arresting the protesters who refuse to move. If Gov Walker is going to start layoffs, I would begin with the folks who refuse to depart the capital building.
